No Limits Educational Center provides services for low-income school-age deaf children and their families. No Limits was founded in 1996 by Michelle Christie, Ed.D., who serves as Founder and Executive Director of No Limits for deaf children. No Limits expanded to become a national program and has produced over 100 original shows in 13 states, with over 200,000 audience members attending performances. No Limits had the distinct honor of making history as the first time deaf children who speak performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and also made history with its production Silent NO MORE at Carnegie Hall in New York City. No Limits is supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Department of Arts and Culture and is celebrating 30 years. No Limits is committed to making its website accessible to everyone and uses the accessiBe widget.
Testimonials about No Limits include comments from Lily Tomlin, Tony Robbins, Suze Orman, and Brad Garrett, as well as parents and audience members. One parent, Eric, shared that he has two deaf children and that his younger son, age 8, has been a part of No Limits for a year. Another parent, Shira, described participating in the No Limits Theater Group as a life-changing experience for her 6-year-old child. An audience member from New Jersey described the No Limits show Silent NO MORE as professionally and tastefully done and an absolute privilege to see.
