Kid’s Fishing Clinic offers a dockside, educational fishing clinic where kids learn hands-on fishing techniques from expert anglers. After the clinic, participants can join a Sunday Afternoon 1/2 Day Fishing Trip that runs from 12:45–5:15 PM, with the added possibility of spotting whales, dolphins, and other marine life while onboard.

• Price: Adults All ages! $76.32; Military Active Duty only, must show ID at check-in $65.72; Seniors Ages 55 and over $65.72; Children Under 14 Must be Accompanied by an Adult $60.42. Prices include fees. A Minor ticket includes the kids clinic and also includes equipment for the child.

Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching began in 1971 and is described as Orange County’s original whale watching company. The organization states that Dana Point is described as the Whale Watching Capital of the World®. Dana Wharf is a proud partner of the World Cetacean Alliance, and it has been voted Best of Dana Point for Best Whale Watching, Tackle Shop, and Harbor Excursion. The program uses U.S. Coast Guard inspected vessels that are described as clean and comfortable and that include a variety of amenities. A Kids Clinic Ticket includes fishing equipment for the Sunday Afternoon 1/2 Day Fishing Trip, with a stated value of $30.
