Westwind Sailing Summer Camps offers a variety of on-the-water and shore-based activities, including Mini Mates Day Camp, Wayfarer Day Camp, Voyager Day Camp, Paddle & SUP Camp, and Seaside Adventure 1 Day Camp. • Schedule: The Summer Soda Pop Race Series meets on Wednesdays, with sign-in and rigging at 4:00 PM, a skipper’s meeting at 4:45 PM, races from 5:15–6:30 PM, and awards and pizza at 7:00 PM; some clinics are 2.5 hours long.

Westwind Sailing Summer Camps is part of Westwind Sailing, which opened in 1987 as a public access boating instruction program in south Orange County. The 3rd Annual Citywide Scavenger Hunt is a month-long activity with 10 stops throughout Dana Point, including landmarks, hidden gems, scenic viewpoints, parks, and local favorites, and participants receive one 20% off paddleboard or kayak rental at Westwind during June. Westwind notes that it is closed on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4, and reopens for paddle rentals at 9:00 AM on Sunday, July 5.
