About
The First Peoples Program introduces participants to California’s indigenous peoples and the early inhabitants of the San Ramon Valley. The program includes hearing creation accounts, viewing artifacts, pounding acorns, and playing traditional Indian games. MuseumSRV transforms into a gateway to the past each autumn for the First Peoples Program, which aligns with the 4th-grade standard for history and social science and complements the Fourth Grade curriculum but is also open to older students and adult groups.
