Literacy Express

Literacy Express offers academic coaching and tutoring in reading, writing, and math for students. The program also provides training in literacy instruction and math instruction for Pre-K teachers. Instruction is provided by a team of credentialed, degreed, experienced, caring, and passionate teachers.

Literacy Express was founded by Deb Storey. According to the program’s mission statement, she founded Literacy Express to create an atmosphere where students make progress, gain confidence, and have fun learning at the same time. The team at Literacy Express also provides professional development to schools, including Blackwater Community School and Gila Crossing Community School under the Native Youth Community Project Grant.
