Tassajara Learning Center

Tassajara Learning Center offers play-based activities that include Zoo-phonics, STEAM investigations, yoga, dance, art, music, dramatic play, cooking, and baking. Children use classroom lofts and learning centers focused on blocks, manipulatives, math, science, art, and self-reflection, and they also use a kitchen for baking and making. The program uses a balanced curriculum that blends Creative Curriculum with Zoo-phonics and STEAM, and includes a Kindness Curriculum that teaches empathy, self-regulation, and positive communication.

• Schedule: Open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM, with Morning, Afternoon, School Day, and Full Day program options

Tassajara Learning Center is a purpose-built preschool and childcare center created by early educators and moms. The 2’s program maintains a 1:7 ratio with a maximum of 20 children, and the 3’s–5’s classrooms have a 1:8 ratio with a maximum of 24 children. Every teacher has completed at least 24 Early Childhood Education units, and many teachers hold degrees and have over 20 years of classroom experience. Ms. Lynn and Ms. Kristi lead the program and have 35 years of experience as early childhood educators. The center’s mission statement is “Where Children Grow, Explore & Discover A Love Of Learning.” Tassajara Learning Center has been recognized as an Award-Winning Preschool (BusinessRate’s Best of 2025). The program includes secure entry, cameras, fenced play areas, and CPR-certified staff, and professional cleaners sanitize every surface daily while recirculated air is used to help maintain a healthy environment. Two healthy snacks are provided daily, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
