About

Five Starz Volleyball Programs offers indoor recreational volleyball, scrimmage style play, and supervised open gym led by Five Starz professional coaches. Program options include All Skills Camp, an All Skills Extended Day Option, Advanced Elite Training, Elite Training July Sessions, and the 2026 Starz Summer League. Athletes take part in high-repetition technical reps in serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and defense, as well as volleyball skills and positional training, game IQ and systems development for offense, defense, and transitions, and position-specific role development. Additional activities include athletic performance training to improve strength, agility, and explosiveness, skill games and light competition, and crafts and team-building activities.

• Schedule: Summer league and camp options in June and July 2026, with 3-week league passes and weekly Elite Training July Sessions
• Price: $100 all you can play 3-week pass or $10 drop-in for the 2026 Starz Summer League; $250 All Skills Camp; $400 All Skills Extended Day Option (includes All Skills Camp); $175 Advanced Elite Training; $80 per week for each Elite Training July Session program

The Five Starz Volleyball Club is beginning its 25th year of continual operation and operates in conjunction with the USA Volleyball program. Girls Club Volleyball teams serve ages 11–18 with competitive USAV teams from November through June, and Boys Club Volleyball teams serve ages 13–17 with skill-based competitive teams from September through February and training year-round. Additional offerings include the Club Prep Program, the Starz Academy program for beginner to intermediate players, and Starz Academy sessions for ages 8–14 in fall and spring. The Five Starz Volleyball Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, and players represent Davis, Woodland, Vacaville, Dixon, Fairfield, many smaller communities in Yolo and Solano Counties, and the Greater Sacramento Area.

The program’s leadership includes Club Director April Donald. The FSVC Head Trainer is Liz Colenzo, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, and NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist with over 20 years of coaching and athletic development experience. For camps and training sessions, athletes are asked to bring volleyball shoes, knee pads, a water bottle, a snack for morning sessions, and a lunch if registered for the extended day or staying through 2:00 PM.
