Institute of Knowledge

The Institute of Knowledge offers Full-Time School for TK through 10th grade, Weekend Schools for KG through 8th grade, and Saturday & Sunday Schools. It also offers Hifdh Quran, Hifdh al-Quran for boys and girls ages 11 and above, IQRA for in-person Quran tajweed, recitation and memorization, and CHESS for young people ages 16 to 32.

• Full-Time Seminary — Graduate program dedicated to rigorous training in the sacred sciences and Islamic intellectual tradition.
• Part-Time Seminary — Part-time Islamic studies courses for college students, working professionals, stay-at-home adults and life-long learners.
• Chaplaincy — Provides university students a safe and nurturing space to talk through their experiences and receive insight from scholars.
• Counseling — Wrap-around support for anxiety, depression, addiction, abuse, harassment, suicidal ideation, conflict, and other mental health and wellness concerns.
• Hifdh al-Quran — boys and girls ages 11 and above · Quran memorization program with emphasis on proper application of tajweed rules.
• Saturday & Sunday Schools — Designed to help students preserve their Islamic identities and support personal and spiritual growth.

About the provider

The Institute says its mission is to foster youthful Muslim minds through programs for different levels of learners that promote traditional religious sciences. Its vision is to inspire students toward excellence in traditional religious and contemporary academic sciences so they can become spiritual and scholarly leaders and professionals who embody an upright and noble character. The Full-Time School is a WASC accredited Islamic Leadership and College Preparatory School, and the Full-Time Seminary offers a One-year Certificate, an Associate’s Degree, a Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic and Islamic studies, a Certificate in Islamic Chaplaincy, and a Master’s Degree in Islamic Law and Tradition with an Ijāzah in teaching and transmitting hadith.
