Institute of Knowledge Summer Programs

Institute of Knowledge Summer Programs are offered by the Institute of Knowledge, which runs a WASC accredited Islamic Leadership and College Preparatory School that includes grades TK–10. The programs take place on the Institute of Knowledge (IOK) campus and are part of a broader set of offerings that include Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies classes, as well as full-time and part-time seminary and Hifdh Al-Quran programs.

• Ages: 5–13 years old

The Institute of Knowledge operates an integrated primary through secondary school and an Institute for Higher Islamic learning, along with a full-time school (TK–10th grade with CHSPE prep), a weekend school, a full-time Hifdh Al-Quran program for males and females, part-time and full-time seminary, and a la carte Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies classes. The Institute’s mission states that it aims to foster youthful Muslim minds through a variety of programs that promote the traditional religious sciences, with a vision of inspiring students in both traditional religious and contemporary academic sciences so they can become relevant, spiritual, and scholarly leaders and professionals who embody upright and noble character. The Institute of Knowledge provides University Chaplaincy to 10 Southern California campuses.

The Institute’s leadership team includes Shaykh Nomaan Baig, founder and director of the Institute of Knowledge; Mr. Imtiaz Mohammady, CEO and President of Nisum Technologies; and Mr. Taher Dadabhoy, managing director of AST Sportswear Inc. The Institute of Knowledge is described by outside scholars and community leaders as an effort that fuses Islamic and secular academics, integrates academic and Islamic studies, and harmoniously combines Islamic and secular education in a way that does not compromise either, and several testimonials note that its graduates serve as leaders in their communities.
