About
The Kitchen Classroom offers hands-on cooking classes, baking, cake decorating, cupcake decorating, giant cookie decorating, and DIY decorating kit sessions. The program also runs summer camps, Kids Summer Baking and Cooking Camps, workshops, birthday parties, team events, adult cooking and baking workshops, Girl Scout cooking and baking workshops, and a Culinary Chefs Club after school program. Kids Summer Baking and Cooking Camps follow an overall theme for the week with a different menu each day that matches the theme.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Camp options Monday–Friday in 8:30am–11:30am, 12:00pm–3:00pm, and 3:30pm–6:30pm time blocks; some camps run four days; Culinary Chefs Club meets once a week for six consecutive classes; workshops are 2 hours long
At The Kitchen Classroom, the stated goal is to teach children and adults a lifelong love of cooking. Chef Instructors are trained in the culinary arts and have extensive experience teaching children. Mini Chefs ages 3–6 can attend special workshops with a parent helper, and only the Mini Chef is charged. Inclusive workshops invite individuals of all abilities to explore cooking in a hands-on environment. Girl Scouts can earn a Cooking or Baking Patch through a hands-on workshop. The Kitchen Classroom works with Regional Centers and accepts payments for social recreation and FMS payment, Self-Determination programs. The Edible Canvas option provides full decorating supplies and a guided decorating session. Enrollment is open for Summer Camps 2026. For all camps, campers are asked to wear closed-toe shoes and keep hair tied back in a ponytail and away from the face.
