Dixon Dance Studio

Dixon Dance Studio offers Preschool Dance Classes for ages 3–5, Pre-Ballet, Pre-Hip Hop, Tap/Jazz Combo, Tap/Ballet Combo, Ballet for ages 6+, Pointe, and Jazz. The class notes describe Preschool Dance Classes as fun, nurturing, and encouraging, Pre-Ballet as an introduction to ballet, Pre-Hip Hop as rhythm, grooves, and upbeat movement, and the combo classes as tap with jazz or ballet.

• Preschool Dance Classes (Ages 3–5) — Ages 3–5 · Designed to spark a lifelong love of dance in a fun, nurturing, and encouraging environment.
• Pre-Ballet — Young dancers · A magical introduction to the world of ballet.
• Pre-Hip Hop — Young dancers · Introduces young dancers to rhythm, grooves, and upbeat movement.
• Tap / Jazz Combo — Young dancers · First half tap rhythms; second half jazz.
• Tap / Ballet Combo — Young dancers · Combines the playful rhythms of tap with the grace and creativity of ballet.
• Ballet — Ages 6+ · One of the foundations of dance.
• Pointe — Advanced extension of ballet; enrollment requires instructor approval and concurrent enrollment in Ballet and Strength & Conditioning.
• Jazz — An energetic and expressive dance style rooted in the rhythms of jazz music, social dance, and more.

For over 20 years, DDS has been a second home. Its mission is to provide dance training in a joyful, safe, and non-competitive environment, and the Back to Dance Bash is free and open to the community.
