Ramtown Karate Kids Camps
Ramtown Karate, 1680 North Lincoln Street, Dixon, CA 95620
About
Ramtown Karate Kid’s Camps include new and innovative training methods, accelerated learning sessions, and game-like drills. Camp days also include problem solving activities and time set aside to discuss life situation issues, nutrition, and positive attitudes. Good form and technique are reinforced with drills that build and progress throughout the camp, and kids work through progressive challenges that test agility, flexibility, strength, and endurance while bonding with peers and instructors over the course of the day.
• Schedule: Summer Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8am to noon, and the All-Day Summer Camp program runs Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm in a four-week session.
Kids camps at Ramtown Karate are strategically spaced throughout the year to align with long breaks from school, and new training methods introduced in these camps go beyond what is offered in standard classes. Community members also attend free self-defense workshops offered a few times each year. Parents and students describe Ramtown Karate as having a fun family-oriented safe environment, a great family atmosphere, and “one big family,” with instructors who are described as professional, courteous, kind, considerate, and enthusiastic. Testimonials note that kids are learning, that the dojo and gym are clean and well maintained, and that the facilities are good.
