All Kids Academy Head Start offers Head Start programs that include comprehensive child development services for children from birth to 5 years of age. The program serves 1,407 children and provides 300,025 meals to students throughout the course of a year. All students attending an All Kids Academy Head Start program are up to date on their immunizations.

The mission of All Kids Academy Head Start is closing the achievement gap by providing quality school readiness and comprehensive services for children and families in East County San Diego. The program’s Head Start services in San Diego serve children, families, and communities through school-readiness programs and close partnerships with families that empower individuals to achieve their full potential. Among the children served, 354 preschoolers with special needs transitioning to kindergarten have received an individualized education plan that supports their success in school. According to the program, Head Start children are more likely to graduate high school, attend college, have a job, and enjoy good health compared to their peers. One board member and past parent, Michelle M., describes Head Start as focusing on school readiness and on understanding what each child needs and what is important for them.
