JKW Innovations STEAM Learning Center offers hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM). Students take part in hands-on experiments and projects in science, learn how to code, program robots, use various software applications, and design and build solutions to real-world problems in engineering. The program also includes art through various mediums and techniques, including traditional and digital art forms, and time spent delving into art history, theory, and the creative process, along with standard core curriculum tutoring, summer camps, athletic teams, weekend-long field trips, classes, workshops, and tutoring services.

The leadership team includes Co-Founder, COO, and CTO Jeremy Wilson and Co-Founder, CEO, and CFO Allie Schindler. Jeremy Keith Wilson has over a decade of classroom teaching experience since 2008, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, several certifications ranging from project management to web development, prior roles as a Learning Consultant for Cox Communications and as a High School Counselor and teacher at Tabernacle Christian Academy, and over 30 years as an instructor at White Dragon Martial Arts. Allie Schindler graduated with the highest honors in her major.
The mission of JKW Innovations LLC is to revolutionize education and empower children to pursue their passions by providing state-of-the-art hands-on learning experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, and character development, ultimately preparing them to thrive in both the classroom and the real world. JKW Innovations STEAM Learning Center is described as San Diego’s favorite STEAM focused learning center and a fully dedicated STEAM learning center, with a devoted group of teachers that collaborates closely with families. The program emphasizes core character qualities such as integrity, resilience, and responsibility, integrates curriculum with character development, uses innovative curriculum and state-of-the-art technologies and software, supports homeschool learning environments tailored to students’ specific needs, and provides comprehensive support to all children, including those with special needs. It is described as a place where students of all ages, abilities, and faculties can take classes that put the “fun” back in learning.
JKW Innovations STEAM Learning Center offers a diverse range of classes, workshops, camps, and tutoring services and provides hands-on STEAM learning in San Diego. The program is currently partnered with multiple charter organizations, including Pacific Coast Academy, Cabrillo Point Academy, Mission Vista Academy, SoCal Scholars Academy, Excel Academy, Epic Charter, Suncoast Preparatory, Elite Academic Academy, Sage Oak, Springs Charter Schools, LFCS Freedom Academy, Element Education, Inc., and Compass Charter Schools. Families connected with the San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) may be able to use approved funding for JKW summer camps. JKW Innovations was featured in SD Voyager Magazine under the “San Diego's Most Inspiring Stories” series, and the founders express dedication to supporting charitable organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation San Diego.
