About the provider

Foothill Learning Academy is led by Academy Directors Laurie Chiappe and Mary Frederick. Its mission is to support parent participation in education by organizing superior enrichment and supplemental classes for homeschool and charter school families.

Foothill Learning Academy is not a school or a charter school. Classes are taught by qualified independent contractors, known as vendors, who are paid directly by the students' parent or charter school. Independent homeschoolers are welcome. Enrollment includes an online emergency information form, agreement to waiver/release and parent/student handbook, volunteer shift or opt-out fee, registration fee, class request, class confirmation email, and charter school vouchers/POs for confirmed classes.
