Kids Sushiology is a hands-on kids sushiology class where participants use a complete sushi-making kit with ingredients and tools to create their own meal. In this class, kids learn award-winning techniques to create unique Mikuni sushi. The class is taught by Chef Taro.
• Ages: 8–12 years old
• Schedule: Single 1-hour session on 4/21 (Tuesday) from 5–6pm
• Price: $65.00; Price: $65/child
Kids Sushiology uses a complete sushi-making kit that includes the ingredients and tools needed to create the meal, and sushi kit, food, and drinks are included for the child only. The child will be seated, and the accompanying adult can stand with the child or be seated in the back. Each child must be between 3rd and 6th grade, must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older, and one adult may accompany more than one child. All ticket sales are final and non-transferable. Mikuni launched Sushiology in 2002 as an interactive, hands-on cooking class focused on making sushi rice and classic California sushi Mikuni-style, and the restaurant received its first of many awards for Best Japanese and Best Sushi Restaurant in 1998. The organization reports having raised and donated $4 million and supported 133 organizations.
