Elite Studio of Dance states that its training in dance technique meets the physical, social, and emotional needs of its students, and that its everyday goal is to provide dance instruction and a positive environment in which students may grow as dancers and as individuals throughout their training. The studio notes that it offers many opportunities for the community to experience dance and that students receive a well-rounded dance education that teaches fundamentals through advanced movement, with many opportunities to compete and perform, including the “Spotlight” year-end performance. Production Company students are required to dance 4–10 hours per week depending on age, plus weekend rehearsals, and they learn choreography from many different excelling artists and take works to competitions locally and around the state. The studio has brought in well-known artists such as Cindy Salgado, Jess Hendricks, Chris Jacobsen, Sean Kaminski, Brittany Parks, Cheryl Copeland, Nicole Hogg, Jake Mcauley, Trevor Takemoto, Reed Tankersely, Melody Lacayanga, and Danny Lawn, and notes that many dancers have gone on to attend college dance programs at UC Santa Barbara, Butler University, University of Arizona, CSU Fullerton, CSU Long Beach, UC Irvine, UCLA, USC, and Fordham University. The Summer Ballet Intensives deepen understanding of ballet history and variations while strengthening foundational technique, prepare dancers for pointe work, and advance technique and artistry for those already en pointe, with pointe dancers attending the variations portion on pointe and non-pointe dancers performing variations on flat.
