About

Elite Studio of Dance offers dance training that includes learning choreography, taking part in competitions, and performing in a year end performance and dance recital. Dancers at the studio may also audition for competitive teams, called the Production Company, where they learn choreography from multiple choreographers and take those works to competitions locally and around the state.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Elite spring break will be March 16–21, 2026; Recital Dress Rehearsal is Friday, June 19, 2026, and the “Spotlight” Dance Recital runs Saturday, June 20–Sunday, June 21, 2026

Elite Studio of Dance states that its everyday goal is to provide the finest dance instruction and a positive environment in which students may grow as dancers and as individuals throughout their training. The studio notes that students receive a well-rounded dance education that teaches the fundamentals of dance through to advanced movement, and that training in dance technique meets the physical, social, and emotional needs of students. The program describes many opportunities for students to compete and perform, including the Spotlight year end performance.

Dancers may audition for the Production Company competitive teams, which the studio describes as a huge time and financial commitment. Depending on the age of the dancer, Production Company members are required to take 4–10 hours of dance per week and attend rehearsals on weekends, and Elite will hold an informational meeting before auditions to explain what is required of Production Company families. As part of the Production Company, students learn choreography from many different excelling artists and from multiple choreographers around the state, then take those choreographed works to competitions both locally and around the state.

Elite Studio of Dance notes that, in addition to its highly trained staff, it has brought in well-known artists such as Cindy Salgado, Jess Hendricks, Chris Jacobsen, Sean Kaminski, Brittany Parks, Cheryl Copeland, Nicole Hogg, Jake Mcauley, Trevor Takemoto, Reed Tankersely, Melody Lacayanga, and Danny Lawn. The studio also states that many dancers have gone on to attend college dance programs at UC Santa Barbara, Butler University, University of Arizona, CSU Fullerton, CSU Long Beach, UC Irvine, UCLA, USC, and Fordham University. The program invites families to browse its website to see the many opportunities it offers the community to experience dance, and notes that website photos are courtesy of CMYK Photography.
