Kovar's Satori Academy of Martial Arts

Kovar's Satori Academy of Martial Arts offers Mini Samurai for 3 and 4 year olds, Kids Martial Arts Classes for ages 4 to 12, and Martial Arts for Teens for ages 13 to 17. The youth classes are split into Lil' Samurai for ages 4 to 7 and Juniors for ages 8 to 12.

About the provider

Hanshi Dave Kovar founded the first martial arts school in 1978, and Tim joined soon after. The site says the academy has 9 locations across the Greater Sacramento Area, 50+ certified instructors and program directors, and 48 years serving the Sacramento community. It also says the kids martial arts program has been voted Sacramento’s Top Martial Arts school for over a decade in the Sacramento A-List. The mission statement says the program aims to empower people of all ages through martial arts instruction, with self-defense, health, fitness, and life skills in a friendly, safe, positive environment.
