Fallbrook Gymnastics was founded in 1982 by Dean and Debbie Capelotti, who started Fallbrook Gymnastic Club together. Dean Capelotti has been Coach and Co-Owner of Fallbrook Gymnastic Club since 1984 and regularly writes articles for Technique magazine, and both Dean and Debbie have served as clinicians for General Gymnastics seminars at local, regional, and national levels. Debbie Capelotti holds a BA in Physical Education, is a former junior high Physical Education instructor, is USA Gymnastics Safety Certified four times, has over 20 years of gymnastics coaching experience, and has been recognized as 1981 Most Valuable Gymnast at San Diego Mesa College, 1979 Most Outstanding Gymnast, and 1978 Western States Baton Champion. George Hery works with the free style acrobatics boys and helps with all competitive teams, and his background includes being a twice All American Gymnast at the University of Iowa, National Vault Champion, World Professional Trampoline Champion, clinician for the President's Council for Physical Fitness and Sport, and sport stuntman.

Fallbrook Gymnastics states that it is dedicated to nurturing young athletes in a fun, family-friendly environment and focuses on building strength, discipline, and leadership skills. The program describes an appreciation for the positive effects that sports have on participants and notes that over the years it has seen young athletes develop physically and mentally, including self-discipline and strong leadership skills. The gym reports that it has always had a family atmosphere where parents are welcome to stay and watch, and that it strives to offer a fun and friendly environment where students learn in a low-stress situation. The program notes that being on a team builds camaraderie and aids in the development of leadership and life skills, that its teams become tight knit with long-lasting friendships, and that working toward long-term goals on a team is a skill that can help athletes throughout life.

The program offers a free trial class and states that students can have fun, learn self-discipline, strengthen their bodies, and become confident leaders. It offers a full range of recreational classes and specializes in working with students who are new to gymnastics, while also offering three competitive disciplines for those wanting more challenge: Women’s Artistic, Trampoline & Tumbling, and Power TeamGym. Artistic and Trampoline & Tumbling are described as individual sports, while Power TeamGym is a group sport, and the Performance Team is non-competitive. The program notes that most current coaches were or still are on one or more of its teams, that it has seen many young children grow into outstanding adults through the program, that it has taught multiple generations within the same family, and that a grandchild of a former competitive team member has joined the program.

Fallbrook Gymnastics is an approved vendor for the Enrichment Program for Pacific Coast Academy, Elite Academic Academy, The Learning Academy, Element Education, and Harbor Springs, and states that vendor services for charter schools are secular. The program highlights that generations of families have grown with it and that many athletes and coaches have remained part of the community for over a decade.

Parent and student testimonials describe the coaching staff as knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging, and mention children progressing to higher competitive levels, enjoying programs such as Power TeamGym, Artistic, and Tramp and Tumbling, and feeling comfortable as beginners and challenged as advanced students. Families report positive experiences with the Mommy and Me program starting in toddler years, long-term involvement of over a decade, and describe the environment as warm, loving, nurturing, friendly, clean, and fun, with children looking forward to classes and viewing the gym as a “home away from home.” One parent notes flexible plans with 8-week paid sessions and mentions that the gym can be warm inside.
