Lakeside Church Youth Ministries & Camps includes activities such as High School Summer Camp, Students Lake Day, and Young Adults Lake Day. • Schedule: Sunday gatherings with infants through kindergarten offered at 8:15, 9:45, and 11:15am; elementary at 9:45 and 11:15am; Middle School Ministry on Sundays at 11:15am; High School Ministry on Sundays at 6pm; additional youth events and camps scheduled on specific dates throughout the year
Lakeside Church Youth Ministries & Camps is part of Lakeside Church, which has been serving Folsom and the surrounding community since 1987. The leadership team includes Brian Becker (Lead Pastor), Alisha Wilson (Connection Pastor), Ryan Reed (Spiritual Formation Pastor), Mike Klockenbrink (Business Administration/HR Pastor), Jen Jarvis (Children’s Ministry Pastor), Chris Daniels (Middle School Ministries Pastor), Hunter Corbitt (High School Ministries Pastor), and Jacob Renfro (Student Ministries Creative Arts Pastor). Lakeside Kids ministry states that children are a gift from God and that they are on mission to make sure each child feels loved and valued. Middle School Ministry offers students a place to build strong connections while having fun and discovering more about their faith, their purpose, and making Jesus a part of their lives. High School Ministry provides students a place to find meaningful friendships, memorable experiences, and adventure while growing deeper in their walk with God. The stated mission of Lakeside Church is “TO HELP EVERYONE FOLLOW JESUS BY LOVING EVERYONE LIKE JESUS.” The Lakeside logo, called the Lakeside pebble, represents a topographical map of Beal’s Point at Folsom Lake and symbolizes both shared faith and unique personal journeys with Jesus. Elders serve two-year renewable terms and oversee spiritual, financial, and administrative areas of the church. Beyond is described as a defining three-year chapter in the life of Lakeside Church where they step forward with courageous faith and joyful generosity in pursuit of gospel vitality for generations to come.
