Sacramento Smokeys' School of Baseball Youth Camps and Lessons

Sacramento Smokeys' School of Baseball Youth Camps and Lessons offers youth all-skills baseball camps that include hitting, throwing, infield defensive skills, outfield defensive skills, and competition games. The program also offers private instruction, multiple player instruction, group instruction, a pitching school, and both baseball and softball lessons. All players are asked to bring their own equipment such as a baseball glove and cleats or tennis shoes, wear long athletic pants or baseball pants, and bring a snack or lunch, a water bottle, and sunscreen, with a batting helmet and baseball bat strongly recommended but not required.

Sacramento Smokeys' School of Baseball Youth Camps and Lessons has been described as a Sacto baseball tradition since 1949. The program states that experienced coaches will show players advanced level fundamentals that are fun, easy to repeat and remember, and that muscle memory drills are used so players form proper mechanics to advance their skill level. Instruction is provided by Smokeys' professional instructors in private, multiple player, or group formats. The program notes that all-skills camps include a free Smokeys camp T-shirt for all athletes and that hourly individual lessons or bundle packages are available. It operates in coordination with the City of Folsom and serves families from Sacramento, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Shingle Springs, Placerville, Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Citrus Heights, Antelope, North Highlands, Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, Natomas, and outlying areas.
