Country Village Preschool & Kindergarten includes activities such as clay, acrylics, watercolors, oils, paints, and chalks. Children also take part in storytelling, dramatic arts, puppet shows, interactive book activities, audiovisual resources, and journaling. Each class visits a Science Room that has many hands-on active learning opportunities and daily interaction with Barnyard Animals.

The mission statement of Country Village Preschool & Kindergarten is to serve children and their families through a high quality, developmentally appropriate program that has national accreditation. The school is accredited by the NAEYC. Children between the ages of 6 months to 6 years are eligible for admission at the Foothill Ranch location, and Country Village admits children on a non-discriminatory basis.
All staff members are selected on the basis of education, experience, and maturity, and a warm and caring attitude along with sensitivity to children’s individual needs is a prerequisite. The staff is required to attend monthly staff meetings, professional seminars, CAEYC training workshops, first aid and CPR training, and to uphold a high standard of professionalism. Staff members meet all the requirements of the State Department of Licensing. The leadership team includes, at the Foothill Ranch school, Director Jennifer Ferguson, Assistant Director Jutta Collins, and Executive Director Seon Hee Yoon, and at the Rancho Santa Margarita school, Director Marisa Sutter.
