Summer Fun/School Break Camp Programs and Leader-In-Training Program

Summer Fun/School Break Camp Programs and Leader-In-Training Program offers camp programs during the summer and during school breaks. The program also includes a work experience option called the Leader-In-Training Program, where participants work with youth ages 5 to 12 helping plan and lead camp activities.

• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Summer Fun 2026 runs Monday, June 8 through Friday, August 14, with weekly registration; registration opens Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10am, and registration for each week closes on the Thursday prior
• Price: Private Pay Registration, Changing Tides Registration, and Scholarship-Eligible Registration options are offered

The Summer Fun/School Break Camps are for ages 5 to 12, and the Leader-In-Training Program is for ages 13 and 14. The Leader-In-Training Program is a work experience program for older children during the camp programs at a reduced rate, pending interview and acceptance. What Leaders-In-Training gain includes leadership skills working with youth ages 5 to 12, valuable work experience and community service hours, and training in communication, conflict management, team building, program planning, behavior guidance, responsibility, teamwork, time management, and overall leadership. Leader-In-Training experience can count towards community service and looks great on a college application, and it is described as an active, productive summer outdoors with an opportunity to make a difference in the community and impact the lives of children.
