Bright Horizon Chinese School

Bright Horizon Chinese School offers an after-school curriculum with daily Chinese language and culture, Singapore Math Foundation and Exploration, weekly English reading and language arts, and guided homework support. It also offers extracurricular programs with art, chess, basketball, tennis, violin and piano, public speaking, and chorus. About the provider

Bright Horizon Chinese School was established in 1997 and has served families since 1997. It is a member of the Chinese School Association in the United States (CSAU) and is a registered test center for the international Math Kangaroo Competition. Its mission is to provide a nurturing, enriching after-school environment that fosters academic excellence, bilingual proficiency, and cultural appreciation. The school also partners with Scouting America, Monday Chess Club, Xnew Academy, King’s Land Chess, and the Foster City Public Library.

Hours: from school dismissal until 6:00 pm. TK/K dismiss ~12:30 pm, grades 1–5 ~2:45 pm. Fridays: wrap up with a relaxing movie and snack time. Refund requests for Mathematical Thinking & Pre-AMC 8 must be submitted within 24 hours of the first class; no refunds after that. Flex Program is billed based on schedules submitted in the prior month. Sibling discount: 10% off the second child's G1–G5 tuition when both are concurrently enrolled.
