Hudson Dance Academy

Hudson Dance Academy offers ballet and tap for Tiny Tots ages 2.5 to 5, age-appropriate hip hop moves for Hip Hop Tots ages 3 to 5, and levels 1-6 in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Lyrical for Junior Level dancers ages 6 to 10. Teen classes are available for beginners or advanced dancers, with levels 1-6 in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Contemporary for ages 11 through adult. Private lessons are listed as Solo $45, Duet $60, and Trio $90, and single class rates are listed as 30 Min. $35, 60 Min. $35, and 90 Min. $52.

Programs

• Tiny Tots / 2.5-5 yrs — 2.5 to 5 years old · Classes in ballet and tap; age appropriate technique; fun and imaginative; first dance class package available at the front desk.
• Hip Hop Tots / 3-5 yrs — 3 to 5 years old · Fun energetic class for little ones who love to move; age appropriate hip hop moves.
• Junior Level / 6-11 years — 6 to 10 years of age · Levels 1-6 in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop and Lyrical.
• Teen / 11-19 years — 11 thru Adult · For beginners or advanced dancers; levels 1-6 in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Contemporary.

About the provider

Tiffany Hudson-Specht, M.B.A., is the Owner and Artistic Director, and the leadership team also includes Wendy Hudson, Jane Retzlaff, Kianna Lee, Ziva, Kobe Bryant Pearson, Lauren Hanson, Megan Shimada, and Fiona Murphy. The academy says Mrs. Hudson-Specht has been the Director and owner of one of the most successful dance studios in Orange County for over 12 years and has taught and choreographed for over 20 years. Hudson Dance Academy won Best of Fountain Valley for education in 2020, 2022, and 2023, and its students have won 1st Overall at competitions including Starbound, KAR, Showstoppers, Thunderstruck, Headliners, and Rainbow.

• Single Class Rate — $35–$52 · 30 Min. $35; 60 Min. $35; 90 Min. $52.

Tuition is due at the first lesson of each month. Tuition paid after the 10th of the month is assessed a $20 late fee. Tuition paid after the 15th is assessed a $30 late fee. Tuition is monthly and does not fluctuate for missed classes, holidays or studio closures. No refunds are given for holidays, studio closures or missed classes. Tuition is not prorated for missed classes. Make up classes may be done within a month of the missed class if tuition is current. Registration is $75/student or $100/family, due at the beginning of each season.
