Hudson Dance Academy offers classes in ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and adult hip hop. The program includes the HDA Competition Team, an HDA Annual Summer Intensive, and an annual June Recital, including the 12th Annual June Recital with a Production of Frozen. Program events also include June Recital picture day, June Recital Rehearsal and Dress Rehearsal, HDA Competition Picture Day, and an HDA Competition Showcase.

• Schedule: Annual June Recital activities in 2025 include registration due by 2.28.25, ticket sales opening 05.01.25, picture day on 05.17.25, rehearsals on June 7th and June 14th, dress rehearsal on June 20th, and the 12th Annual June Recital with a Production of Frozen on June 21st at 4:30pm for cast A and 7:30pm for cast B; HDA Competition Picture Day is on 4.24.25; the HDA Competition Showcase is on 6.21.25 at 12pm; auditions for 2025–2026 are on June 13th; the HDA Annual Summer Intensive runs July 7–11th and August 4–8th.
• Price: HDA Annual Summer Intensive Early Bird Registration is $550 by May 1st, Regular Registration is $650 by June 1st, and Late Registration is $750 by July 1st.

Hudson Dance Academy offers classes for tiny tots aged 2.5 to 5 years in ballet, tap, and hip hop; for children aged 6–11 in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical; and for teens aged 12–18 in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop, along with an adult hip hop exercise class. The program includes a competition team, an Annual June Recital with a Production of Frozen, an Annual Summer Intensive, and has received Studio of Excellence awards from competitions. Hudson Dance Academy won Best of Fountain Valley for education in 2020, 2022, and 2023.

Owner and Artistic Director Tiffany Hudson-Specht holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Dance Performance and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University, and she has taught and choreographed dance for over 20 years. She has been the director and owner of one of the most successful dance studios in Orange County for over 12 years, and her choreography has been performed at the Hollywood Christmas Parade and NCAA basketball games. The leadership team includes Tiffany Hudson-Specht, M.B.A., as Owner and Artistic Director, Wendy Hudson as Office Manager, and Marissa Skates as Hip Hop Director. Staff experience includes Ziva, who trained at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy for 10 years and has taught ages 3 through adult; Lauren, who received the Best Jazz Dancer Award and the Bright Spot award from the Academy for the Performing Arts jazz ensemble and is attending Chapman University with a minor in dance; Kianna, who earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from UCSB and danced professionally for the Los Angeles Lakers for three years; and Miss Wendy, who has a 30-year career in Client Management and 20 years of experience as a Dance Mom.

Hudson Dance Academy states that it trains dancers from beginning to professional level, aged 2.5 to adult, and that it offers options for once-a-week classes, competition, or professional-level training. The program states that it values each student, offers small class sizes so each student gets attention, and gives students the opportunity to pursue a classical or commercial dance path. Its stated mission includes “EXERCISING THE MIND, CHALLENGING THE BODY, BUILDING SELF ESTEEM.”
