• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Youth basketball leagues run year-round in Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer; basketball and volleyball clinics are held in Fall and Spring; preschool summer camps meet in week-long sessions with 45-minute camps; adult basketball leagues meet two nights a week on Tuesdays and Fridays; open gym is available Sunday afternoons for all adults and Wednesday evenings for adults 40 years and older

Shoreline Sports has been a part of the community since 1997, with roots in a 1996 partnership between Shoreline Baptist Church and the founder of Upward Basketball, and its leagues expanded into the current Shoreline Sports model by 2007. The program is led by Shoreline Sports Director Steven Herd, with Neil Liebrand also listed on the Shoreline Sports Fountain Valley page. Shoreline Sports describes its mission as using sports to share Christ, teach His Word, and equip leaders, and states that it uses athletics as a vehicle to share the love of Jesus Christ in a welcoming, faith-based environment where young athletes can grow spiritually and physically. The program notes that it offers Christ-centered sports opportunities for children, youth, and adults, integrates daily devotions into all programs, and includes Memory Verse Challenges where participants earn Shields for memorizing scripture. Shoreline Sports states that it is open to all and that no child is turned away from participating in its programs, and that its summer programs align with Shoreline Baptist Church’s VBS and Activity Camps.

The preschool component is nicknamed the Lil’ Sportsters Program and is open to children in kindergarten and below, and the overall program includes options from preschool through high school. Unique features include two open gym opportunities for adults, with Sunday afternoons open to all adults and Wednesday evenings for those 40 years and older. Community involvement is described as a long-standing church and community connection since 1997, with summer programs coordinated alongside VBS and Activity Camps.
