About
Southwest Conservatory of Music and Dance offers music lessons and dance lessons, including private and group music lessons and dance classes. Students can take piano, guitar, voice, strings, winds, and woodwinds lessons, and can join performance workshops, festivals, evaluations, competitions, community performances, school demonstrations, studio recitals, annual studio recitals, community recitals, and annual organized evaluations such as the MTAC CM program or RCM Certificate program. The school combines a music studio and dance studio, with grand pianos in most music studios and floating dance floors in all dance studios.

• Schedule: Open daily with class options Monday–Friday from 11:00 am–8:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am–7:00 pm, and Sunday from 8:00 am–6:00 pm
Southwest Conservatory of Music and Dance was established in 2001. Each student receives a free introductory preview lesson and evaluation to determine the best teacher and lesson format, and small group classes of about 6–8 students are offered. Student progress is reviewed annually, and students can join ensemble activities, workshops, and seminars as the program offerings are updated.
Music and dance teachers at Southwest Conservatory of Music and Dance are university trained, many with graduate-level degrees, and are selected as specialists on the instruments they teach based on their educational background, training, and experience. Teachers are encouraged to be members of professional music teachers organizations, and they customize their teaching for each student. The school focuses on creating a positive learning environment and a dynamic, supportive musical community of teachers, students, and their families.
