About the provider

Master Fong is the head instructor at Confidence Dojo. Chief Master Tabuchi is mentioned as having 54 years of training. The team has been helping kids and families across the Bay Area for over 50 years. The program says dedication builds confidence and describes martial arts as the vehicle and a child who knows what they're made of as the destination. It also lists a KUKKIWON-certified curriculum and says it is the only stand-up Olympic martial discipline with a college accredited credential that is UC transferrable.

Tiny Tigers is built for ages 4 to 7. Month-to-month memberships are offered, with savings on longer plans. The class is designed for first-timers and no previous experience is needed. The program says it does not teach kids to fight; it teaches discipline and confidence.

What families say

“Confidence Dojo is a great place to learn. Mr. T has an amazing staff of well-trained instructors who are passionate about what they teach. The Krav class has a wonderful spirit of camaraderie and it is full of people who love to learn and work out. I am so glad to have found a great place to work out and make some wonderful friends. Come and check it out!” — P.W Krav Maga Student Fremont

“I have trained at Confidence Dojo for over 9 years to attain my blackbelt. As a hyper kid with little self control my mom decided that martial arts would be a good way to learn self discipline. For 9 years, our head teacher as we affectionately call Mr. T trained us. I grew mentally and emotionally becoming a confident disciplined student in both high school and our martial arts studio.” — Jeet-Student Fremont
