Fremont Youth Soccer Club

Fremont Youth Soccer Club offers Competitive Soccer for players U7-U19, Grassroots Soccer for recreational players, an After-School Skills School for elementary-aged players, Summer Camp, a Tournament Series each fall, and Talent ID & Team Selection for boys and girls U7-U19. The After-School Skills School is a 5-week program where players learn a new dribbling skill each week and try it in small-sided games. Competitive Soccer focuses on technical soccer ability and individual characteristics, and Grassroots Soccer focuses on free play.

Programs

• Competitive Soccer — U7-U19 · For players who want to develop technical soccer ability and grow individual characteristics, including social skills, and psychological and physiological development.
• Grassroots Soccer — Catered to the needs of the recreational player. Focuses on free play and helping players love soccer while being safe in their growth and development.
• After-School Skills School — elementary-aged players · 5-week program; each week · Focuses on fun. Players learn a new dribbling skill each week and try the skill in small-sided games in a pressure-free environment.
• Summer Camp — Designed to provide players with a soccer environment that is fun, educational and developmental. Players are organized into groups based on age, skill level, and gender.
• Tournament Series — Each fall · Hosts a tournament series each fall, with tournaments catered to specific skill-levels.
• Talent ID & Team Selection — boys and girls U7-U19 · Evaluations take place in May of each year; may request an evaluation year-round · Evaluation process to identify the most appropriate team for each player for optimal long-term development.

About the provider

Fremont Youth Soccer Club has been operating since 1978. Its mission is to provide a positive and nurturing environment for soccer players of all levels to develop soccer ability and a well-rounded human character.

Users can join the Competitive program at any time throughout the year. The club is on a 40 week training calendar with the official start/end dates being in February where players attend an evaluation event. If joining at a different time in the year, that is not a problem. Players can also join during the playing season even if already registered with one of the club's other programs if interested in Competitive Soccer. Need Director of Coaching OK to move clubs if currently playing with another organization.
