Loving Tree Academy offers Chinese lessons with a daily review of Chinese, along with Chinese, mathematics, science, crafts, sports, music, and public speech in its curriculum. The program holds events such as the “Moon Festival Poetry Reading Competition,” “Chinese Spring Festival Carnival,” “Chinese Speech Contest,” and an “Art Exhibition.” The program takes place in a home-like environment filled with love, caring, and nurturing.

Loving Tree Academy was formed in response to growing community interest in learning the Chinese language and culture. The program focuses on Chinese teaching so that children use Chinese in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and it embeds Chinese history, literature, customs, traditions, and other aspects of Chinese culture into daily routine activities. It offers Chinese lessons twice per week with daily review and immerses Chinese culture into the daily curriculum to help students understand their ethnic roots. The mission of Loving Tree Academy is to help children develop understanding and expression, thinking and problem-solving skills, and interests necessary to be successful learners, readers, and writers through Chinese, mathematics, science, crafts, sports, music, public speech, and other curriculum. The program acts as a tutoring center with a role in building a foundation for children’s future school success and believes that scientific management of three hours of after-school time can support progress in learning attitude, academic achievement, and independent thinking and problem-solving skills. Staff are carefully selected with years of experience and a strong sense of responsibility, and the program states a commitment to high-quality education, a safe and inspiring learning environment, and rapid, caring responses to parental and student concerns. Loving Tree Academy advocates for development of the child as a dynamic individual, emphasizing physical, mental, and emotional health in addition to academics, and it participates in various community cultural activities to help spread and promote Chinese culture in a multicultural country.
