The mission of Loving Tree Academy is to help children develop understanding and expression, thinking and problem-solving skills, and interests necessary to be successful learners, readers, and writers through its Chinese, mathematics, science, crafts, sports, music, public speech, and other unique curriculum. The program focuses on Chinese teaching so that children use Chinese in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and it embeds Chinese history, literature, customs, traditions, and other aspects of Chinese culture into daily routine activities. It offers Chinese lessons twice per week with daily review of Chinese and immerses Chinese culture into the daily curriculum to help students understand their ethnic roots.

The program functions as a tutoring center with a role in building a foundation for children’s future school success and is based on a philosophy drawn from a famous Chinese poem about rain, emphasizing a well organized, soft, and caring environment that supports children in becoming self-confident, independent, and enthusiastic learners. It believes that scientific management of three hours of after-school time can help students make progress in learning attitude, academic achievement, and independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
