Pegasus Taekwondo After School

Pegasus Taekwondo After School offers an after-school program where students learn taekwondo skills, including kicking, jumping, running, and punching. Classes include specific taekwondo training such as Poomsae, sparring, and tricking. The program also offers a free trial class and a competition team where students train for and compete in local and national taekwondo events.

The program is committed to bringing high-quality taekwondo training to students from diverse backgrounds and to giving every student the opportunity to succeed. The program provides pickup of kids from their school for the after-school program and offers a welcome back to school offer.

The owner and Head Master is Haksung Kim (Master Kim), who began his career as an instructor in 2001. Master Kim attended Korea National Sport University in Korea, where he continued his taekwondo career at Korea National Sports University. He has been an instructor since 2001, has over 25 years of experience, and has taught the U.S. Army and Marine Corps. He is the USA National Taekwondo Team Coach and the Stanford University Taekwondo Team Coach and has been coaching Team USA since 2017.
