About the provider
Simon Academics started in 2003. Mr. Simon is the owner and founder. Mr. Zybul, Mrs. Osborne, Mr. Liang, and Ms. Irby are also named on the About page. The program says it provides premium tutoring services, with small groups, high standards, and instruction based on student needs.
Small groups are used. Pacing and focus depend on student needs, not worksheets or schedules. Homework for writing classes takes 1-2 hours per week total. Reading classes have minimal writing and are not a test preparation class. College counseling is recommended starting in middle school or by 9th grade at the latest.
