Fresno School of Music offers motivating classes that include musical activities, recitals, and workshops. The program also offers a FREE preview class for families who want to experience a class before enrolling. Fresno School of Music offers an extensive program in both group and private instruction for all ages and levels of advancement.

Fresno School of Music has been training young musicians for life since 1985. Owner and School Director Peggy Donabed graduated from CSU Fresno and studied under Philip Lorenz and Ena Bronstein Barton. She began teaching at what is now Fresno School of Music in 1977 and purchased the school in 1986. The leadership team includes Peggy Donabed (Owner & Director), Shelly Coleman (Piano Instructor), Mandy Schroeder (Piano & Voice Instructor), Robin Rogers (Piano Instructor), and Sandy Moomjian-Hart (Piano Instructor). The school’s mission states that it trains young musicians for the benefit of each student, their families, and for all humanity, and that students current and past have developed a love of music that has given them much joy in their lives. The mission also states that the school believes all children can be musical and can enjoy the process of learning. The owner regularly participates in musical conferences and events.
