• Ages: 2–6 years old

Founded in 1991, The Growing Patch Preschool is an early childhood education center owned and operated by a teacher. The school was designed and built uniquely for preschoolers ages 2–6, with classrooms, bathrooms, and an enormous backyard tailor made for the kids. The program uses a curriculum specialized for different age groups, incorporates Pre-K learning outcomes, and follows a structural curriculum with sensory learning that includes visual, auditory, and verbal enrichment. The Growing Patch Preschool focuses on developing each child’s individuality to be creative, thoughtful, and analytical, and offers various half-day and full-day program options with a class size of 2 teachers for a maximum of 15 students (a 1 to 6 ratio). The staff includes highly experienced and caring educators, and the program operates in a nurturing environment.

The mission of The Growing Patch Preschool is “Laying the foundation for a better tomorrow.” The program holds The Growing Patch License #103810196.

Parent feedback includes comments that the teachers are wonderful and the curriculum is outstanding, with special mention of the art projects and the book that children create throughout the year. Parents describe the curriculum as encouraging growth in literacy, math, music, science, art, creativity, motor, and social areas, and one parent shared that their child was reading when he graduated preschool and impressed his kindergarten teacher. Another parent called The Growing Patch “a diamond in the rough.”
