Art Academics offers classes in drawing and painting with a focus on creativity. Each student works on their own project, and instruction is tailored to what students want to learn or explore. The program includes instruction in common drawing and painting materials and teaches classical realism along with creativity.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Class is once a week at a scheduled time; each session is 1.5 hours long.
• Price: $160/month for regular, in-person classes
Art Academics offers small class sizes and provides all materials. The program offers classes for adults, teens, and children 6 and older, and the first class is free to try. Students learn how to draw more accurately, explore techniques for various media, and gain a greater understanding of color theory. According to the program, students learn patience, gain self-esteem, develop faith in themselves, and learn to trust their unique ideas through creative problem solving.
