The program follows an approved curriculum and standards of the World Taekwondo Federation, and it presents Taekwondo as both a traditional Korean martial art and a modern-day Olympic sport. Programs can be adapted for any age, ability, or challenge that an individual may face, and they are described as martial arts classes in Orange County.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
The stated goal of Eagle Taekwondo is to create a positive and disciplined learning environment to practice martial arts, with a focus on improving fine and gross motor skills, as well as the ability to listen, follow instructions, and focus. According to the program, students may also gain traits such as self-esteem, self-control, self-confidence, humility, leadership, discipline, respect, and focus, and the training provides fitness, mental stimulation, and the ability to defend themselves if necessary. Programs are under the approved curriculum and standards of the World Taekwondo Federation.
Grand Master Jung H. Jin leads the program as a former U.K. National Team coach and a 9th degree Black-Belt (Kukkiwon). He has over 40 years of teaching experience, is a certified 1st Class Instructor by the World Taekwondo Federation, an International Referee, and a World-Class Korean Eagles TKD Demonstration Team Director.
One parent, Cathy V., reports that her 8-year-old son’s self-confidence has improved and that he is overcoming intense shyness after four months at Eagle Taekwondo, and she notes that Master Jin combines knowledge with fun in a group class setting. Another parent, Thomas W., describes the staff at Eagle Taekwondo in Tustin as very professional and passionate, and states that they know how to get kids motivated and that he highly recommends the program for kids of all ages.
