Northeast Garden Grove Little League offers youth baseball. Players take part in league baseball activities on multiple dedicated fields.
• Schedule: Hosts seasonal events such as Angel Day, Closing Ceremonies, Egg-travaganza, Opening Day, Interleague Meeting, Scorekeeper Meeting, Team Mom Meeting, Coaches Clinic, and Meet and Greet.
Northeast Garden Grove Little League was first established in 1955 at Ralston Intermediate School on Euclid and Lampson. The league later moved to the old dump site that is now the location of the Hyatt Hotel on Chapman and Harbor, and in the 1980s it moved again to its current home on the campus of Warren Elementary School, tucked behind Pioneer Park on Chapman Avenue. The league will celebrate its 70th anniversary Spring Season Opener in 2025. Over the years, countless players and coaches have participated in baseball there, creating memories, building friendships, and discovering a lifelong love for baseball. The league states that it honors every dedicated volunteer who has supported it and expresses a goal of bringing Northeast back to what it once was, describing it as a place of memories, pride, and community and aiming to put Northeast back on the map.
Dozens of All-Star District Championship flags are part of the league’s history and are described as sitting folded with pride, with the league noting they are waiting for the next generation to add to this legacy. Northeast Garden Grove Little League offers Little League Diamond Leader Training and provides a list of Little League approved bats.
