Aqua Gliders Swim School LLC offers private swim lessons for ages 12 months to adults. It also offers water confidence sessions for children scared of water, the Introduction Program: Dunk and Glide, the Intermediate Program: Kick and Float, Intermediate 1: Floating and Big Arms, and Advanced: Perfecting Your Stroke and Conditioning. Lessons are private and one on one, and the school uses the roll and float method in young children.
Programs
- Private swim lessons — 12 months to adults · One-on-one private lessons in a fun and family friendly environment. Tailored to each student or child’s needs. Focus on safety first and water confidence.
- Water confidence sessions — Children scared of water · One-on-one lessons focused on gradual acclimation, trust-building, and comfort in a safe, supportive environment.
- Introduction Program: Dunk and Glide — Beginner swimmer program. Goals include putting face in the water unassisted, gliding 5 to 10 feet unassisted, kicking 5 to 10 feet unassisted, and backfloating 5 to 10 seconds with assistance.
- Intermediate Program: Kick and Float — For swimmers who are more comfortable in the water. Goals include back floating for one minute without assistance, rolling from tummy to back with some instructor assistance, and related skills.
- Intermediate 1: Floating and Big Arms
- Advanced: Perfecting Your Stroke and Conditioning — Advanced lesson level with drills and techniques to help swimmers perfect their stroke. The advanced swimmer is able to swim the length of the pool and is considered safe in the water.
