The American Chess Academy After-School Enrichment Program offers after-school chess instruction for beginner and experienced players. The program includes lessons, traditional gameplay, variations of chess games, and partner-play, and it meets once per week for one hour after school.

About the provider
The leadership team includes Armen Ambartsoumian, Jerry Yee, Arman Mikaelyan, Timothy Abadilla, Michael Yee, Artiom Ambartsoumian, and Kai Kettering. ACA says chess can transform how you think and live your life, and the after-school program aims to build critical-thinking skills, self-confidence and sportsmanship, and to help students learn from mistakes.
