Glendora Youth Soccer offers soccer league play that includes new player assessments and team coaching by volunteer coaches and assistant coaches. The program uses volunteer coaches and assistant coaches who are parents and family members of players, and new coaches receive basic guidance along with helpful links and information. During games, participants are advised to begin hydrating the morning of or the day before the game, bring ample water, and wear plenty of sunscreen, and referees may allow longer quarter and half-time breaks and additional substitutions during excessive heat.
• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Registration runs in phases from March 1, 2026 through June 15, 2026, with a refund deadline of July 23, 2026
• Price: $165–$250 depending on registration period
Players must be at least 5 years old on 9/1/2026 to participate. Divisions offered in 2026 include COED 5; BOYS 6 and GIRLS 6; BOYS 7 and GIRLS 7; BOYS 8 and GIRLS 8; BOYS 9 and GIRLS 9; BOYS 10 and GIRLS 10; BOYS 11 and GIRLS 11; BOYS 12/13 and GIRLS 12/13; and BOYS 14–17 and GIRLS 14–17. Divisions close when they reach capacity even if registration is still open, and a wait list is available when divisions meet capacity. New Player Assessments are required for players who are 7 or older and did not play with Glendora Youth Soccer in Fall 2025 in order to be drafted to a team, while players who played in Fall 2025 have already been assessed. Refunds are available if requested before the refund deadline of July 23, 2026, and refunds are not granted after teams are created.
The program has a GYS Pledge for ages 5–7 that states: “I will listen to my coach, I will follow the rules, I will have fun.” For all other ages, the GYS Pledge states: “We are GYS Soccer Players, We will respect our team, our opponents and officials at all times, We will play fair and work hard, And win or lose, we will always do our best.” Glendora Youth Soccer shares updates through its Instagram handle @glendorayouthsoccer. The website is powered by SportsEngine’s Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software and is owned by and subject to the Glendora Youth Soccer privacy policy.
Through the Sponsor a GYS Athlete program, families or community members can support an athlete in need by sponsoring their 2026 season registration.
