Red Dragon Karate After School Martial Arts includes martial arts training, self-defense, anti-bullying techniques, stranger awareness, leadership training, and women’s empowerment training. Red Dragon Karate was founded in 1965 and has been a family owned and operated business for over 50 years, training, coaching, and teaching kids and adults of all ages during that time. The program uses the original Red Dragon style of martial arts, which was created by combining 7 major martial arts forms and is described as the original “Mixed Martial Art.” It offers family martial arts programs and age-specific programs with a detailed curriculum centered around children’s specific development stages, with a focus on character-based life skills including self-discipline, self control, and self esteem, bully proof self-defense skills, academic accountability and physical fitness for elementary and intermediate school students, and leadership and good citizenship for high school participants. Martial arts training at Red Dragon Karate is stated to benefit every age group including younger kids, elementary and intermediate school students, high school students, and adults.
All students wear a uniform during classes, and there is an offer to buy the child’s uniform before the trial at a discounted price so the child can feel like part of the family on their first class.
