Lasting Adventures Youth Summer Camps offers outdoor youth summer camps that include backpacking trips, day hikes, multi-day group tours, day tours, corporate retreats, and guided private tours. Since 1997, Lasting Adventures Youth Summer Camps has introduced thousands of youth to nature and the wilderness experience through Adventure Based Programming. Lasting Adventures is a 501(c)(3) public benefit non-profit with a mission to foster environmental stewardship, teach responsible recreation, and provide opportunity for personal growth through the facilitation of impactful wilderness experiences. The organization seeks to provide youth, families, and disadvantaged communities with positive experiences in America’s National Parks and natural spaces. On all guided day tours, experienced guides teach participants about some of the history, ecology, and geology of the surrounding area and introduce wilderness ethics and Leave No Trace principles.
