Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast offers activities that include jewelry making as part of its programs. The program offers safe, educational, and fun programs for local youth and provides places where kids can go after school and during the summer to grow beyond the classroom. Programs are designed to achieve priority outcomes for lifetime success in the areas of Education, Character, and Health, and offer safe, inclusive spaces and experiences that empower members’ learning and growth.

Since the first doors opened in 1966, Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast has had a strong reputation for providing safe, educational, and fun programs for local youth between the ages of 6–18. The organization expanded programming in 2023 to include service to children enrolled in TK/Kindergarten programs. It also benefits an additional 4,000 local children each year through outreach, including sponsored arts and sports programs. The program provides youth with adults who mentor and tutor members and also provides healthy daily snacks. Its mission and core values fuel a commitment to promoting safe, positive, and inclusive environments for all. Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast serves members in the communities of Santa Maria, Guadalupe, Atascadero, Paso Robles, Creston, and Shandon. Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast invited the local community together to highlight important statistics regarding youth in the San Luis Obispo area. An alumni statistic from the organization reports that “57% of Alumni say the club saved my life.”
