Coastside Basketball’s stated mission is to provide the youth of the Coastside an opportunity to play year round basketball at a high level via skill development through clinics and practices. The program offers high-level skills clinics, traveling teams, specialized conditioning workouts and personal workouts for all ages. It states that all players who want to play will play, regardless of financial situation, and that families who need a scholarship are asked to request one. The program describes Half Moon Bay as a small, close-knit town and describes itself as an extension of that community. It states that everyone wants to win, but the focus of its teams is on constant improvement of both the team and the individual players, and that the goal of every team is to be the best coached team and hardest working team on the floor.
