Coastal Rep’s Education Program (CRKT) includes summer camps, auditions, theatre education, performances, classes, movies, and theatre rentals. The program takes place at Coastal Repertory Theatre and centers on youth theatre activities.
Coastal Rep’s Education Program states that it delivers a comprehensive theatre education to youth that focuses on unleashing their potential and fostering a passion for the arts. The program is led by Director of CRKT Programs Sabina Perlsweig and Choreographer and Dance Teacher Jessica Nordby. Sabina Perlsweig has been teaching theatre and music in the Bay Area for over a decade and is trained in musical theater, classical voice, piano, and jazz/classical saxophone, and she studied music at UC Berkeley, where she was a member of both the University of California Marching Band and the University Chorus. The program’s community involvement is described as “Theatre for the Community, by the Community,” and past CRKT shows are listed from 1999 through 2023.
