Children take part in lessons on the importance of hand-washing and germs, lessons on manners, and potty training. Humble Hearts Academy is a home-away-from-home daycare described as a handcrafted one-of-a-kind environment, with space painted and perfected by the family and monthly yard clean-ups by the family. The program offers an immersive Spanish and bilingual environment and uses the BrightWheel parent communication app for lesson plans. The daycare has security cameras in all rooms and facilities built with safety in mind. Children have access to an outdoor play space and outdoor playtime twice a day for thirty to forty-five minutes per session. Healthy meals are cooked on-site with fresh (not canned) fruits and veggies and ingredients kept as organic as possible, with example menu items including chicken with rice and a side vegetable with fruit for dessert, pasta with meatballs, mac’n’cheese, and Chinese chicken salad.
