About the provider
The mission statement says the program serves infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in a developmentally appropriate manner. The leadership team includes Michelle Root, Program Director; Mitchell Ha, EdD, Assistant Program Director; Deborah Klimas, Administrative Secretary; Maria Duenas, Family Engagement, Outreach, and Equity Specialist; and Yadira Torres, Community Schools Specialist.
Our Philosophy states that children learn best when they experience a variety of developmentally appropriate learning activities that incorporate a child’s individual strengths, needs and interests. Children play, explore, investigate, are appropriately challenged and have opportunities to be successful—all in the context of caring, supportive relationships.
