Sun Gallery Art Programs and Summer Camps

Sun Gallery Art Programs and Summer Camps offers Art Summer Camps for kids of all ages. It also offers Field Trips for Kindergarten-8th grade, School Visits, Art Parties for all age groups, and Art Socials. Art Summer Camps run Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm, and summer camp starts June 8th, 2026 with registration per week and 6-10 sessions per summer. Students can take their work home at the end of the week.

Programs

• Art Summer Camps — kids of all ages · Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm
• Field Trips — Kindergarten-8th grade · Monday-Friday, 9am-11am or 11:30am-1:30pm · $225 per session · Kids make and keep a piece of art. Ask for book illustrator availability (+40$). Price will increase to $250 in Fall 2026.
• School Visits — 9am-10:30am or 10:45am-12:15pm · $250 per session · Materials supplied. If you need another time slot, email us. Price will increase to $300 in Fall 2026.

About the provider

Sun Gallery has been in operation since 1976. The gallery provides visual art exhibitions and educational programs that reflect the diverse cultural populations of Hayward and its surrounding area. Family Art Saturdays are always free, and the gallery also arranges annual pro-environmental exhibits.

• Art Parties — all age groups · Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays · $200 · Includes canvas (8x10) and supplies. Every additional person $25 extra.
• Art Socials — $25 · 2-3 hour art experience + snack breaks; includes canvas (16x20) and supplies.
