Level Up Montessori

Level Up Montessori offers Infant Care, Toddler Care, a Toddler Program, a Preschool Program, Pre-school, K, Day Care, and Preschool. The program includes activities that allow children to explore the environment, experiment with ideas, manipulate materials, and construct knowledge. Every project and activity at Level Up Montessori integrates 2–3 skills to support social-emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development.

Level Up Montessori opened its first location in October 2021 in Hayward, California. The program serves families in the San Francisco Bay Area within about 10–15 miles around its locations.

The stated mission of Level Up Montessori is to provide tools and resources that empower educators and children to experience learning through creative expression, play, and open-ended discovery, and to teach skills for success in elementary school after preschool. The program’s approach applies child development theories and brain research to a model of teacher support, child experience, and family engagement. The program states that every child is full of potential, naturally curious, and important to the community, and that families are central to the intellectual and social growth of the child. It also states that family culture and beliefs add beauty to the school community.

Level Up Montessori evaluates every child to determine strengths and areas for improvement. Teachers are described as learners alongside the child, acting as researchers and guides who offer resources and support through academic and Montessori materials. The program also plans teacher-parent conferences at least twice a year to share each child’s work samples and assessments.
