The San Bernardino County 4-H Youth Development Program is part of the University of California 4-H Youth Development Program. The program includes hands-on projects in agriculture, science, and community service, and focuses on civic engagement, leadership, and life skills. It is one of nine fully chartered clubs and several special interest groups within 4-H in the area.

Founded in 1902, 4-H is one of the nation’s largest youth development programs. The San Bernardino County 4-H Youth Development Program was established on January 1, 1957. The mission of the University of California 4-H Youth Development Program is to engage youth in reaching their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development. The San Bernardino County 4-H Youth Development Program is led locally by Emily Watson, 4-H Program Representative. The program emphasizes hands-on learning and involves adult volunteers, community partners, and youth-serving organizations. 4-H is open to all, including youth and adult volunteers of all backgrounds, regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender identity, disability, marital status, age, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
